Fire Chief Honored with Community Service Award

Palm Harbor Fire Chief James Angle was recently honored as the "2012 Community Leader Of The Year" by the Palm Harbor Rotary for his exceptional service to the community.

Other community leaders commented during the ceremony about Chief Angle's "unfailing attention" to their own annual events and the truly exceptional service provided by the Palm Harbor Fire Department since his arrival in 1996.

In addition, Chief Angle was presented with one of Rotary's most treasured awards, an Honorary Paul Harris Fellow. These world-wide honorees areindividuals who exhibit the highest of professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International. His model of "Service Above Self" clearly made Chief Angle a worthy recipient.
