Are you a pilot or a long-distance driver?
The would like to rescue an injured dog that spent weeks living under a small shed, protecting her five puppies in rural Georgia.
The league says the dog is nicknamed "Punkin" and has a facial injury that could be from a gun shot wound, a nail, or she may have gotten into a fight trying to protect her puppies.

Angel Dog Rescue went to the shed which is near Georgetown, Ga, and tried to remove her, but she refused to leave her puppies unguarded. Angel Dog Rescue volunteers were worried about the injury to her face and caught her using a trap. However, she escaped from the trap and crawled back under the shed to care for her puppies. She was eventually caught again and is now in need of medical care. "Punkin" has tested positive for heartworms in addition to suffering the facial injury.
The Suncoast Animal League has contacted Canine Rescue Flights. The organization says it can help, however they have not been able to free up a pilot. The Suncoast Animal League says time is becoming a concern because of the dog's medical condition. The rescue group is asking for help with her transportation (by air or ground) and her medical care.
