Heron Rescue Unfolds on Twitter
You probably know that the Suncoast Animal League rescues and finds homes for unwanted pets. But, the non-profit regularly comes to the aid of critters of all types, as this string of Tweets that were cross-posted on Facebook illustrates.

Suncoast Animal League Executive Director Rick Chaboudy is regularly called out to rescue all types of critters in Pinellas County. He often cross-posts his activity on Twitter and Facebook, so animal lovers can follow along. Here's a look at how the rescue of an injured Blue Heron unfolded as the story developed on Facebook Friday.
