The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in a Palm Harbor home invasion Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say Forrest King, 22, kicked in the door of a home at 310 Avery Ave. in the Crystal Beach area of Palm Harbor. Once inside, King allegedly demanded property and shot Matthew Beck, 28, in the stomach. Kristina Tueber, 33, was also inside the home, but was not injured.
King then drove off in the Beck's Nissan Xterra, according to authorities. A short time later, a Pinellas County Deputy spotted the SUV which was mentioned in a BOLO and followed it down Alternate 19 and onto Causeway Boulevard in Dunedin.

The deputy turned on his cruiser's flashing lights and once he made it onto the bridge he sawΒ the suspect's car rear-ended a 2006 GMC Envoy, which caused it to spin around and flip onto the hood of a Dodge Journey in the eastbound lane, Barreda said.
According to authorities, King then got out of the car and ran into the water. Some citizens who were nearby helped deputies catch King. Investigators think King may have thrown the gun used in the robbery into the water. A dive team is looking for the weapon.
