Palm Harbor's Town Hall Meeting on Jan. 25 will be held at a new location to accommodate a possible large crowd.
Have something you want to say to Pinellas County Commissioners? We're bringing our local leaders to you for a Town Hall Meeting Wednesday, Jan. 25!
Pinellas County Commissioners Susan Latvala, Nancy Bostock, Norm Roche and Neil Brickfield will participate in the our first Town Hall Meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25. How cool is that?!
We originally planned to hold the Town Hall Meeting at , where many people in Palm Harbor gather for casual discussions about politics and other issues.Β

However, a local civic activist claims he's going to bring at least a hundred people to the meeting to let commissioners know how serious they are about a certain issue in Palm Harbor.Β
Of course, Palm Harbor Patch wants to make sure no one is turned away from the Town Hall Meeting because of a lack of space, so we've decided to move the Town Hall Meeting to the Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation Center, which can accommodate up to 300 people. That way, there is enough room for everyone, in case the local civic activist brings 100 people.

As for the rest of Palm Harbor's citizens who have an idea or question you'd like to ask commissioners, don't worry, we've gotcha covered! We want to make sure a WIDE variety of topics are discussed, and the Town Hall Meeting is not dominated by any one group or issue.Β
With this in mind, we're asking people who want to speak to send us an email with:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The idea or question you have for commissionersΒ
You can send the email to sunde.farquhar@patch.com.Β
We're very excited because we've already received lots of questions concerning many topics. This looks like it's going to be a lively and fun Town Hall Meeting. We can't wait to see you there!
