Florida Cattle Ranching: Five Centuries of Tradition, a special program about the history of cattle ranching in Florida, will be held at the Palm Harbor Library located at 2330 Nebraska Avenue on Saturday, November 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This program is proudly sponsored by the Florida Humanities Council and is co-hosted by Palm Harbor Library and the Palm Harbor Historical Society as part of “The Way We Worked” series. Books for sale will be available. Historian Bob Stone of Gainesville will present the program and he will display a variety of “Show and Tell” hands-on items for you to explore and enjoy.
