Local Teen Competes Tuesday on 'America's Got Talent'
Lindsey Norton is a senior at East Lake High School who has been dancing since she was 2 years old. Now, she's competing for a million-dollar prize.

Tuesday night, a Palm Harbor student will be in the national spotlight. Lindsey Norton, 17, will compete on America's Got Talent (AGT) at 8 p.m. on WFLA. Norton is one of many contestants hoping to win a million-dollar prize.
The East Lake High senior is an acrobatic dancer who uses tumbling and flexibility tricks in her routine. She's been dancing since she was two years-old and added acrobatics into her routine at age five, according her bio on the AGT website.
The talented teen, who recently won the Dance category in Walker's Rising Stars scholarship competition, received a standing ovation during her tryout for the show at the Mahaffey Theater back in April. Tampa Bay Times media critic Eric Deggans, who was in the audience, called it a "heartwarming sight".
