Locals Speak Out About Romney Win

Mitt Romney Tuesday, earning 46 percent of the votes. Newt Gingrich received 31 percent of the votes according to the Florida State Dept. of Elections.

"As a supporter of Mitt Romney, I'm very happy not only that he won this important primary, but even happier he won by such a large margin. This shows that Republicans have finally chosen their candidate to beat President Obama and retake the White House."

"The Florida Primary will best be remembered as a difficult lesson to suffer through, but it was necessary.

It brought out the ugly side of politics, thereby battle-testing the candidates for the Fall election.

Although it was distasteful, it will make the GOP presidential candidate a lot stronger and more prepared to take on the slings and arrows of the on-coming Obama campaign.  

In other words, as difficult as the Florida primary was, it marks a turning point in the election."
