Jason Haynes Named Firefighter of the Year
Jason Haynes was promoted to Lieutenant in 2010 and is a very active member of Palm Harbor Fire Rescue.
Palm Harbor Fire Rescue has honored nine-year veteran firefighter, Lt. Jason Haynes with the organization's 2011 Firefighter of the Year award.
Haynes was promoted to Lieutenant in 2010 and is a very active member of . Haynes participated on the 2006 Extrication Team and is also an Honor Guard Team member. He is actively involved in fire prevention activities and often responds to fire investigations and participates in commercial fire prevention initiatives.
"He continues to set the example for new firefighters, maintains a positive, upbeat attitude and is very dedicated to his work," according to a PHFR news release.

Haynes holds many state certifications including CPR Instructor. Haynes also helps new paramedic and EMT students.
