Memorial Day Service at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Was Beautiful

With over 500 guests in attendance and lovely weather, the 34th Annual Memorial Day Service at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor was very special.

Jess Loban, retired United Stated States Air Force delivered an inspirational keynote address about the sacrifices of America's freedom. For the 15th year, Colonel Jerry Custin, Retired USAF was at the helm and led the service as an exceptional Master of Ceremonies.

Musical highlights of the ceremony were many. Tampa Bay Lightning Singer Sonya Bryson-Kirksey, Retired USAF, sang the National Anthem magnificently like no one else can and Palm Harbor United Methodist Church Choir once again passionately provided beautiful patriotic music.

The ceremony was concluded with free light refreshments and fellowship with old & new friends. All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony to honor the men and women who died while serving our country. May we all never forget the ultimate sacrifice they made for our freedom.
