OneLove Jamfest Honors Local Teen

Saturday, the Thirsty Marlin holds a festive fundraiser in honor of Landon Korabek, a Palm Harbor teen who died in 2010 from an accidental prescription drug overdose.

In May of 2010, 17 year-old Palm Harbor University High student Landon Korabek's life was cut short when he accidentally overdosed after taking the prescription drugs Vicodin and Xanax.

Two years later, a party is being thrown in memory of the talented young musician, with the goal of raising money to prevent future overdose tragedies and to foster musical education in the community.

The OneLove JamFest will be held from 1 to 7pm, Saturday, May 12 at the Thirsty Marlin.
