Palm Harbor Beer Fest Saturday
2nd annual beer tasting event will benefit Old Palm Harbor Main Street.

If you like beer, you'll want to be in downtown Palm Harbor Saturday.
Brewers will take over a section of the historic area for the 2nd annual Palm Harbor Beer Fest. The beer tasting will feature some 60 craft and specialty beers including gluten free brews.
The event is open to adults ages 21 and over, no minors will be allowed in the area where beer is served. Tickets are $25 which pays for admission and a tasting cup. You can buy tickets in advance for $20; they're available at World of Beer location and at the Hot 101.5 website.

The event will be held at the corner of Georgia and 11th St. Some of the breweries scheduled to attend include: Wood Chuck, Magic Hat, Modello, Southern Tier, Redhook, Kona, Victory, Kelly's Cider, Evander, Estrella Dam, Capitol Brewing, Florida Avenue, and Tampa Bay Brewing Co.
"Shark" from radio station 97.X will make an appearance. The event will also feature live music from Paint the Town. Food will also be available for purchase.

The Beer Fest is from 2 to 6 p.m. Shark will host a local pub crawl after the event. Proceeds from Beer Fest will benefit Old Palm Harbor Main Street, a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and enhance the quality of life and business in Old Palm Harbor.
