Palm Harbor Teens Injured in Crash

18 year-old Angelica Hall was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center after the crash Friday morning.

A Palm Harbor teen suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a crash Friday morning on Curlew Rd in Dunedin, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say around 8 a.m., a 1992 Geo Prism driven byΒ Shay Lydon, 19, of Palm Harbor, pulled out from Fisher Rd. and into the path of a Dodge Ram van that was headed eastbound on Curlew Rd.Β The impact of the crash caused heavy damage to the passenger side of Prism. Firefighters had to extricate Angelica Hall, 18, of Palm Harbor, from the passenger seat of the car. She was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries. Lydon was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Colleen Marinello, 42, of Clearwater was driving the van andΒ was not injured in the crash.

Investigators say there are no traffic signals at the intersection of Curlew and Fisher roads, but there is a stop sign in the southbound direction of Fisher Rd. Β
