Restaurant is hosting private fundraiser Monday night.
The countdown is on for Tuesday night's grand opening of the new Lee Roy Selmon's sports bar in Palm Harbor. If you regularly drive on US 19, you've probably seen all of the progress that construction crews have been making on the new restaurant.
The restaurant is the 7th Lee Roy Selmon's to open in Florida, and the 6th here in the Tampa Bay area. It is owned by NFL Hall of Famer, Lee Roy Selmon.
"We are ecstatic about being a part of the Palm Harbor community," said Lee Roy Selmon, who is also a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer.

The Palm Harbor location will be different than others in the chain. It is a prototype that will feature multiple levels of seating, more than three dozen HDTVs, three of which are 50" wide, and two 120" projection screens. Guests will also be able to play corn toss games on the outside deck.
The restaurant's grand opening is 11 am Tuesday. A private fundraiser will be held Monday night with the proceeds benefitting the Palm Harbor Panthers and the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy.
