Palm Harbor Man Accused of Burglarizing Vehicle

An ongoing domestic situation led to the arrest of a Palm Harbor man on multiple charges, including felony burglary, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies.

Patrick Robert Agos, 27, is charged with felony burglary, criminal mischief and resisting an officer.

Deputies responded to a 911 call around 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 25 in the 200 block of Talley Drive in Palm Harbor.

Deputies say that despite their previous warnings, Agos had refused to stay away from another person with whom he was involved in a previous domestic situation.

According to an arrest affidavit, Agos broke a rear window of the victim's vehicle, reached in and unlocked the door, then got into the vehicle and opened the hood. Agos then allegedly removed several fuses and wires to "maliciously disable the vehicle."

Deputies say as this happened, neighbors were telling Agos to stop, but he refused.

After his arrest, Agos admitted to breaking into the vehicle and had the wires and fuses in his pocket, according to deputies. They say he also kicked at the windows of the deputy cruiser despite several warnings not to do this.

Agos was booked into the Pinellas County Jail, where he remained as of Monday evening. Bond was set at $7,300.
