Palm Harbor Weekend Music Scene
This weekend sees a variety of alternative styles of music in Palm Harbor with a jazz trio, acoustic singer songwriters and the unique Stick Martin Show in town.
If you want to hear something a little different this weekend then head to the lounge at on Tampa Road on Friday night. Local jazz trio, Interplay, will be performing some no-nonsense jazz from 7pm to 10pm. The band consists of Joe Aromola on bass, Dan Harris on guitar and Fred Edinborgh on drums playing what they describe as straight ahead jazz.
house band Flying High will be performing at 7pm on Friday. The duo plays a blend of classics as well as some less well-known tunes. Both members of the band sing and bring a harmonic interplay of vocals to their sound. The band also plays on Saturday night at the same venue starting at 7pm.
At the it’s Open Mic Night on Friday from 8pm onwards. All comers are welcome to play, sing or just enjoy the music.

Also on Friday night Dave Bearce will be gracing the stage at . The vocalist and guitarist is often seen playing with other local musicians but on Friday he will be performing solo. His sets include original music as well as covers from the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash and Matchbox Twenty. The show starts at 9pm and runs to 1am.
On Saturday night singer songwriter Andy Harrison will be performing on the patio stage at the Witch's Brew. Harrison performs both original music and covers, some more obscure than others. The music starts at 8pm and will be broadcast live on www.livestream.com/thewitchsbrew for those who cannot make the show.

The Catch of the Day Band takes the stage at on Saturday night. The popular local group will be bringing their blues flavored rock show to Ozona from 9pm onwards.
The Stick Martin Show will be in town on Saturday night, performing at Peggy O’Neill’s from 9pm to 1am. This fun and funky four-piece have a reputation throughout the Bay area for their unique live shows and the diversity of their sound. The band draws on a variety of influences from Ween and Beck to HedPE, Tool and Eminem.
Sunday sees Reggae Sundays return at Fairway Pizza. Those looking for some tropical sounds can hear some classic island music from 12pm to 4pm.
On Sunday Stan & Mark’s Acoustic Jam takes place on the patio of the Witch's Brew from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
