Palm Harbor Weekend Music Scene

Hard rock and blues seems to be the trend in Palm Harbor this weekend, with a surprisingly original duo thrown in for good measure.

Stormbringer takes to the JC Cravers stage on Friday night to kick off a weekend of rock in Palm Harbor. Formed in 1986, this five piece band has seen many changes in its lineup over the years, but has always found a following in Florida and beyond. The group plays a mix of classic rock, from artists such as Pink Floyd and Bon Jovi, as well as original tunes. At the it’s Open Mic Night on Friday from 8pm onwards. All comers are welcome to play, sing or just enjoy the music.

The Defendants, the Witch’s Brew house band will be performing on Saturday night from 8pm to 11pm on the patio. This popular Palm Harbor band performs a variety of favorite classic rock tunes such as Mustang Sally and Born to Be Wild as well as covers of artists such as Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones and many more.

will be hosting a performance from JC Vitte and the Catch of the Day Band. A crowd favorite at Billy Jack’s, the Catch of the Day Band perform a mixture of covers and original music with a distinct blues influence. The show starts at 8:30pm on Saturday.

Also on Saturday night Mo Debly will be performing at . This one-of-a-kind duo will be playing their own unique takes on various classic tunes. The band consists of Mo on vocals and guitar and Debly who plays the violin. This unusual pairing cover everything from Bob Marley to Led Zeppelin with interesting and impressive results. The show runs from 9pm to 1pm.   

If you find yourself all rocked out by Sunday you should check out Stan & Mark’s Acoustic Jam on the patio of the Witch’s Brew from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
