Palm Harbor Weekend Music Scene
Palm Harbor music lovers will be spoiled with choices this weekend with a great selection of live music over three days.
sees the return of Palm Harbor regular Ben Bryan on Friday night. Bryan is an accomplished singer-songwriter with an extensive repertoire of tunes and a powerful gritty voice that can effectively be unleashed on practically any song. The show starts at 7 p.m.
At the it’s Open Mic Night on Friday from 8 p.m. on. All comers are welcome to play, sing or just enjoy the music.
Also on Friday night, the Black Honkeys are playing at JC Cravers at 8 p.m. This eight-piece band will be bringing a little funk to Ozona with its catchy performances of Motown and soul classics. In addition to covers of artists such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and Kool and The Gang, the band has some funky original tunes.

At on Friday night, Jeff Duncan takes to the stage to perform his blend of classic rock and acoustic tunes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Markunas Brothers will be playing on Saturday night from 7 to 10. This duo has been performing throughout the Tampa Bay area for more than 20 years and has developed a very unique and original sound, incorporating instruments such as the steel drum into its rock repertoire.

celebrates its 6th Anniversary on Saturday and understandably is having a party. It will be a day of live music with regulars Bad Ranch kicking the party off at 4 p.m. with their distinct style of rock that calls on influences as diverse as the Beatles and Cat Stevens to the grunge bands Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
They are followed on the Peggy O’Neill’s stage by Bela Wurtzler. This multi-instrumentalist has fashioned his own sound, which covers a variety of genres and touches on country, hip hop and rock.
Thaddeus Wiley will be playing at the starting at 8 p.m. Normally seen fronting local bands such as Xtra-Mile and Rumorhazzitt, Wiley will be performing a solo acoustic set on the patio.
There is also plenty of music to be heard on Sunday with Stan & Mark’s Acoustic Jam on the patio of the Witch’s Brew from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Rounding off the weekend is Andy Harrison, who will be performing at Boyle’s Backyard Grill on Sunday night from 6 to 9. Harrison is an acoustic singer-songwriter who plays a variety of classic and contemporary covers as well as original material.
