Amazing Show of Generosity During Canned Food Drive
We were astounded at the generosity of people in Palm Harbor during our canned food drive. The Lucky Dill Deli donated a whopping 936 lbs. of food.

You may have seen the Patch RVÂ rolling through town last week. We were wrapping up our month-long canned food drive with a whirlwind tour through Palm Harbor and other North Pinellas County Communities.

The food drive benefitted Feeding America Tampa Bay. Throughout the month, Palm Harbor businesses , , and collected canned food. Then last week, our Patch crews hopped in the Patch RV and held events in Palm Harbor to coincide with the canned food drive. We gave away free coffee, Patch water bottles, ice cream sundaes and bingo games to people who donated canned food. We had a blast meeting everyone and we collected thousands of pounds of food!

We'd like to thank everyone who donated. We're still calculating the final weight of the food donated, but it looks like it will probably be a couple thousand pounds of non-perishable food that was collected in Palm Harbor, Clearwater, Dunedin and Largo. Â
