Pet of the Week: Meet Jordan
Palm Harbor Patch is proud to help the Suncoast Animal League find a forever home for this great pet.

Thanks to Beth at the Suncoast Animal League for providing information for this story!
This week, we have one fabulous pet who is looking for a home. Meet Jordan. There was a time when he was the big dog, the king of his castle and the master of his domain. It didn't matter that glasses would tumble from tables when his tail wagged, or that couches were only big enough for one when he rested. His large Mastiff head was majestic even without a crown, and his Rhodesian Ridgeback bloodline gave him courage.
But everything changed when another dog moved in the household and the two dogs did not get along. Jordan was banished to the back yard and his contact with the family he loved became less and less frequent.

Eventually, the family took 3 year-old Jordan to Animal Hospital of Northwood and asked for him to be euthanized. Dr. Woodman couldn't do it and asked that they relinquish custody to him. He then brought Jordan to the Suncoast Animal league to find him the loving home he deserves.
Jordan has been with us a few days and he has won us over. He is 81 pounds of lovable mush. When you are with him, he has to always be touching you, as if he is afraid he will once again be banished. If his butt isn't in your lap then he has his big ol' front legs wrapped around your shoulders in bear hug style.

A throne would be nice for this big dog, but no worries if you don't have one, any couch will do.
