This beautiful brindle colored puppy is Bubba, who's a 9 week-old hound dog mix (as of Jan 24)! He's a fun, sweet little puppy who came to Suncoast with his four brothers and sisters. Bubba is part Plott Hound, so he’ll be a true southern gentleman.
Plott Hounds are known to have a split personality, but in a good way. Around the home, they are gentle and agreeable, excellent with children and perfectly happy to just hang out in the living room. They love their families and want to be included in all group activities. However, out on the trail, Plott Hounds take on a different persona: focused, alert, determined and energetic. He will probably be a large dog and will need regular exercise.

Bubba is currently staying with a foster family, along with his brother Hank, so please call the Suncoast Animal League office at 727-786-1330 to arrange to meet him.
2) Cat of the Week- Dude
Note: the following should be read in your best "Crush the Turtle" voice from Finding Nemo:
TOTALLY AWESOME DUDE!
Dude's a sweeeet 12 week old kitten who loves to chill out with his human dudes. When he's not motoring around, scopin' out the location to see what radical stuff he can get into, he'll just hang with you.
Dude's nickname is "teddy bear" because he's a cuddler... a snuggler.... what? He's cool enough to admit it! He purrs as soon as you say his name. He especially likes the little dudes and dudettes in the human world. He so totally rocks!
Sound like the fuzzy little dude for you? Dude's chillin' with a foster family, so call the Suncoast Animal League office at 727-786-1330 to schedule an appointment to meet him.
The Suncoast Animal League is located at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave, 727-786-1330.
Thanks to Beth at the Suncoast Animal League for writing the descriptions for these adoptable pets!
