Pets of the Week: Meet Ralph & Dusty!
Palm Harbor Patch is proud to help the Suncoast Animal League find forever homes for these great pets.
This week, we have two fabulous pets who are looking for homes.
1) Dog of the Week: Meet Ralph
Ralph is a 2 year-old, 50 lb. Catahoula mix who was just transferred from another shelter. He's very intelligent, polite and is eager to learn new things. He has such a sweet face and great personality.

Ralph obviously had owners at one time, but they abandoned him. While out on the road, being the smart dog that he is, he decided to start hanging around at an animal shelter. Their staffed him for a few days, then took him in as soon as they found room.
Raplh has a good amount of energy and will need regular exercise. As soon as he gets that out of his system, he wants to hang out with you and be loved.

Because he was out on his own for a while, he is a bit possessive when it comes to his food, but we're working through it. He should be fine once he's in a stable home and knows he doesn't have to worry about his next meal anymore. However, for this reason, we suggest that he not be in a home with young children, but kids over 10 year-old should be okay.

1) Cat of the Week: Meet Dusty
Dusty is an incredible kitty who was transferred here from another shelter. Dusty is sweet and affectionate, and thoroughly enjoys the company of everyone she meets!
She also loves cheese... cheese in all forms: sliced, melted on pizza, and on Doritos, she is not shy when it comes to seeking cheesey handouts. Dusty is quite the little character!
Dusty is freindly and outgoing, she's the kind of cat who will greet you at the door and tell you how happy she is to see you. Dusty is so grateful for any attention she gets and just wants to be around people, be involved and have a family.
We’re not entirely sure of her age and Dusty, like many females, won’t confirm or deny a thing. So, we’ll just say she’s a healthy adult and we’ll leave it at that.
Dusty's been waiting for her forever home for some time. If she sounds like the right addition to your family, come meet her at the Suncoast office today!
