Pets of the Week: Meet Snoopy & Mia!

Palm Harbor Patch is proud to help the Suncoast Animal League find forever homes for these great pets.

This week, we have two fabulous pets who are looking for homes.

1) If Snoopy placed his picture and physical attributes on an on-line dating service, his computer would explode with all the responses! Snoopy is a handsome, 30 lb., two year-old dog that looks like he might be part lab and part hound (check out his ears!). His good looks, short hair and intelligence will no doubt make him a pooch in high demand.

Snoopy is also a good athlete who loves to play on agility courses and is also very good at games that call for a great sniffer.

However, not only does Snoopy like a challenge, he is a challenge. He cares for and respects people who understand him and give him tough love. He requires a person who is in charge of him, not vice versa. If he is allowed to be in charge, he will take charge and his inner dark side will come out. Snoopy needs an owner that knows how to manage all three parties involved, Snoopy, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

Snoopy has also never met a treat he didn't like!

2) Baby Mia is a 4 month-old (as of Jan 2012) medium-hair, tortoiseshell kitten now available for adoption! Mia is a true "purr" machine! She loves to be held and especially likes to have her ears scratched! How's this for fun; Mia really likes watching Nick Jr. on TV! She would love to have a new "fur" ever home. Could that be yours? Mia sure hopes so!

Mia is currently in a foster home, so please call the Suncoast Animal League League office at (727) 786-1330 if you'd like to meet her! You'll be glad you did!
