Police Vehicle Hits Two Pedestrians
The brothers, who were slightly injured, were wearing dark clothing and were walking on Keystone Rd. which does not have streetlights.

An off-duty Tampa Police Officer hit two pedestrians who were walking on a darkened roadway in the East Lake area early Friday morning.
At about 4:43 a.m., Officer Bryan Felts, 44, was driving one of the agency's unmarked vehicles in the westbound lane of Keystone Rd. just east of Whispering Lakes Boulevard, when he hit Daniel and Donald Daimwood, both 31, of Odessa, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Β
The brothers were wearing dark clothing and were walking in the westbound direction on Keystone Rd, which does not have streetlights.Β

The Florida Highway Patrol says Felts tried to avoid the men, however the right side of the 2007 Ford Expedition hit them. The brothers received minor injuries and were given medical care at the scene. They were not transported to a hospital.Β
Damage to the Ford Expedition is estimated at $1,500.
