Public Invited to Honor 343 Fallen NYC Firefighters Friday
North Pinellas Firefighters will wear NYFD shirts as a tribute to their comrades who lost their lives on 9/11.
The 343 New York City Firefighters were more than a thousand miles away from Palm Harbor when they lost their lives responding to the 9/11 attacks in New York City. On Friday, their comrades in North Pinellas will show that the sacrifice they made will never be forgotten, regardless of the miles that separated them.
Friday at 10 a.m., Firefighters from , Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs and Dunedin will gather at Oldsmar's Canal Park wearing NYFD shirts as a tribute to firefighters who lost their lives.
The public is invited to attend this special tribute. Canal Park is located at 3120 Tampa Rd in Oldsmar.
