By this time next week, the transformation of one of Palm Harbor's most popular destinations will be complete.

You may have heard that Palm Harbor Community Activity Center has undergone a makeover and will officially be known as "The Centre" beginning Saturday, Aug. 11.

About a hundred supporters of The Centre attended a ribbon cutting and luncheon there Friday afternoon.

Director of The Centre, Erica Lynford, served as master of ceremonies. Among those in attendance were Pinellas County Commissioners Karen Williams Seel, Norm Roche and Neil Brickfield.  

Guests were treated to a Italian cuisine luncheon catered by Delectables Fine Catering in Palm Harbor.
