RNC Brings Business to Innisbrook

So, did the hundreds of delegates bring business to Innisbrook?

"Spending at the hotel was right on target, as anticipated," said Innisbrook spokesperson Ramona Hurley.

Hurley says most of the hotel's food and beverage revenue was from delegate events held on the property that were catered by Innisbrook. This includes the breakfasts that featured speakers each morning at Innisbrook Hall and delegate luncheons.

The resort's golf courses saw a bit of action from delegates.

"Some people did get out and enjoy golfing," said Hurley.

Golfing was down early in the week because of the bad weather brought by Tropical Storm Isaac, but that changed when the weather improved. "It did pick up, as we anticipated," said Hurley.

Palm Harbor Patch stopped by the Salamander Market, where Devin Leinenger was working. He said that delegates have also been stopping by to pick up food and beverages take with them.
