Sheriff Candidates' Forum Wednesday
The current candidates for Pinellas County Sheriff will participate in a forum at the Palm Harbor Library.

The race for Pinellas County Sheriff is heating up. A candidate forum will be held Wednesday, May 9 at 6 p.m. at the Palm Harbor Library. This will be the second candidate forum, the first was held April 18.
As of May 7, there are six candidates for Pinellas County Sheriff. The field of candidates could become larger, there is still time to join the race. The deadline for candidates to qualify for the race is June 8 at noon.
The current candidates are listed below in alphabetical order. They will participate in the forum.

- Randy Heine (Dem)
- Tim Ingold (Rep) (had announced in a previous forum that he is leaving the race, however he is not listed as "inactive" on the Pinellas Supervisors of Elections website)
- Greg Pound (CPDF)
- Everett Rice (Rep)
- Scott P. Swope (Dem)
