The Palm Harbor politician says the photos he sent to friends to show off his weight loss and improved health were leaked to a political blog to hurt his re-election campaign.

Norbert Swierz, 92, of Palm Harbor was a war hero whose planes were shot down twice. He escaped from a P.O.W. camp and was honored with multiple medals. Sadly, he died before recently-discovered war letters from his mother could be given to him.

A neighbor says the fire at a double-wide home in the Frontier Village Mobile Home Park is especially tragic because the homeowner's husband died earlier this year, and now she's lost her home.
