Pinellas County Commissioners signed off on a two-year contract with Texas-based Paramedics Plus, putting the brakes on immediate changes to the way citizens are transported to the hospital during emergencies.

Pinellas County Commissioners voted 5-2 to approve an ordinance allowing residents in unincorporated Pinellas County to raise chickens in their backyards.
