Lawmakers passed a bill Friday that pays Irv Hoffman of Palm Harbor, and his ex-wife, Margie Weiss a $2.4 million settlement in a wrongful death suit. Their daughter, Rachel Hoffman, was 23 when she was killed during a botched undercover drug sting.

Kelly Rothwell, who lived in Indian Rocks Beach and worked in St. Petersburg, has been missing since March 12, 2011. Rewards of $50,000 are being offered for information on her whereabouts.

So far, Padraig Harrington is having a great week at Innisbrook's Transitions Championship. Thursday, he set the course record with a 10-under-par 61. During Wednesday's Pro-Am, he made a hole-in-one while shooting 64.
