Twenty-five year old brings “biological age” from 52 years old down to 18 years old in five months
Several months ago, Jessica Halverson was having dizzy spells. Her general physician initially diagnosed vertigo, but further testing proved she had high blood pressure.
“I really didn’t want to go on blood pressure medication,” said the 25-year-old Halverson, who works as an office manager in a pet hospital in Largo.
She attended an educational event at Impact Health in Palm Harbor with a friend, where she was tested using the physical therapy and fitness training clinic’s BioAge Monitor. This device reads the pulse through the finger and reports several key health indicators, such as the body’s biological age in terms of fitness and overall health, by the overall stiffness or elasticity of arteries.

The BioAge Monitor reported Halverson’s biological age as 52 years old, and the level of blood flowing through her arteries was so low it almost didn’t register.
“Those results were scary, to test at age 52 when I was only 25 at the time,” said Halverson. “I could have had a heart attack.”

Halverson began taking nutritional supplements by Symmetry called Cardio5000 and Simply Magic, which are sold at Impact Health. She also began exercising regularly and frequently checking her blood pressure.
After two months, she retested on Impact Health’s BioAge Monitor. Her results reported a drop in her biological age – from 52 to 38 years old – and the flexibility of her arteries rose to mid-range.
After three months, Halverson had lost 38 pounds. And a couple months later, her blood pressure had returned to normal and the BioAge Monitor reported a biological age of 18 years old.
“Impact Health helped save my life,” Halverson said. “The BAM test opened my eyes. It made me want to take care of myself and stay healthy.”
