Wet Wreck on U.S. 19

This was the scene in front of the Wendy's restaurant, just north of Nebraska Ave. on U.S. 19 around 6 p.m. Thursday.

A red mini-van and a silver car crashed and wound up in the southbound lane.

The impact of the crash appeared to have knocked a tire off the van and the silver car wound up facing the wrong direction in the southbound lane.

Thunderstorms were also moving through the area around the time of the crash.
