Wine Tasting to Benefit Suncoast Animal League a Big Success

The folks over at the Suncoast Animal League say the wine tasting they had at Ed's Fine Wines on May 28 was a big hit.

Suncoast Animal League Executive Director Rick Chaboudy says the event was a financial success and everyone had a great time.

"We raised over $1,500 in just three hours, so we were quite pleased. The event was well attended, and everyone seemed to stay for the entire time, which is a sure sign of a successful event," he said.

The fundraiser was the first time the nonprofit shelter and the wine shop teamed up for an event like this. In addition to adoptable dogs and wine, the event featured a hot dog and hamburger cookout and a raffle.
