The 4-vehicle crash on U.S. 19 in Pinellas involved two SUVs, a pick-up truck towing a trailer and an Amazon delivery van, FL troopers said.
PALM HARBOR, FL — A 73-year-old Crystal Beach woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a four-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak Avenue and U.S. 19, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The woman was driving a Lexus RX SUV west on Oak Avenue when she tried to cross the northbound lanes of U.S. 19, turning north into the path of a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 57-year-old Port Richey man around 5:30 p.m., FHP said.
The collision sent the Lexus across the median and into the southbound lanes, where it struck a Chevy Silverado towing a trailer, driven by a 27-year-old Tampa man, and an Amazon delivery van driven by a 27-year-old Tarpon Springs man.
