YMCA Hosts International Day

Wanna experience other cultures without leaving Palm Harbor? You can do just that during the 5th Annual International Day at the on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

The event will feature music and informative presentations representing cultures around the world.

"It's an opportunity for members of the YMCA to represent their culture," says Nayana Garnica, Kids Zone Coordinator at the Palm Harbor YMCA.

Morning and evening sessions are scheduled. Here's a lineup of the events-

10:00 am to 12:00 pm

• 10:00 am Music from Italy, Accordion Player Alvaro Barsi
• 11:00 am Greek Chorus, Children’s Choir from Athenian Academy of Pinellas
• 10:30 am Greek Dancers, Children’s Dance Team from Athenian Academy of Pinellas

5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

• 5:00 pm Music from Italy, Accordion Player Alvaro Barsi
• 6:00 pm “Star Spangled Banner” by Zackary Massey
• 6:05 pm Niños de Mexico– Mexican Dance, Directed by Mene Pioquinto 
• 6:20 pm Irish Dancers, Students from Stephen C. Scariff School of Irish Dance
