What to Expect at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) (wjhg.com) — Panama City travelers using Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport this Labor Day weekend should plan for heavy crowds, full parking lots, and possible weather-related delays, especially Monday afternoon. Airport officials urge passengers to arrive early, use overflow parking with shuttle service, and closely monitor airline websites for up-to-date flight information before heading to ECP.
   

• Southeast Notes: Simmons, Hornets' Outlook, Suggs, Magic Broadcasts (hoopsrumors.com) — Orlando Magic fans in Panama City will soon be able to watch about 70 regular-season games free over the air on WJHG 7.6, thanks to a new deal with Gray Media. The piece also recaps offseason storylines around the Heat, Hornets, and Magic, including Jalen Suggs' importance under Orlando's new head coach.
   

• Construction on U.S. 98 widening project to cause temporary closures (mypanhandle.com) — Drivers from Panama City heading toward the beach should expect a temporary closure at U.S. 98 and Allison Avenue from Sept. 8–10, with a reduced 35 mph speed limit and detours via Chip Seal Parkway. The work is part of a $60 million project widening U.S. 98 between Nautilus and Richard Jackson Boulevard in Panama City Beach, scheduled to finish in late 2027.
