Gates open each evening through Saturday with varying start times, and tickets are $15 with an optional $35 unlimited ride wristband, giving families plenty of chances to enjoy the festivities.
2. Cheapest gas stations in Panama City (pasconewsonline.com) — If you're filling up in Panama City today, here's where to find the lowest regular gas prices, with AMI Food Store on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd leading the list. Several other stations around town and nearby Callaway and Lynn Haven are only a few cents higher, giving you options to save on your next tank.
3. Panama City PD hosts National Night Out, connecting agencies with community (wjhg.com) — Panama City residents just had a chance to meet local police, firefighters, and EMTs up close at National Night Out at Panama City Mall, where agencies showcased vehicles, gear, and giveaways. Organizers stressed building trust and partnerships, while attendees said the event also opened their eyes to possible public safety careers in the area.
4. Man found dead outside Panama City Beach area Airbnb (miramarflnews.com) — Bay County deputies are investigating after a man was found dead in a parked vehicle outside an Airbnb near Quartz Street and Sunset Avenue in the Panama City Beach area. Authorities were alerted early Monday afternoon and say the case appears to be an isolated suicide, though they are withholding the victim's identity while the investigation continues.
5. Bay senior dual threat is this week's Walborsky, Bradley and Fleming Student Athlete of the Week (wjhg.com) — A standout Bay High School senior in Panama City is earning recognition for excelling both on the offensive line and in the school band, all while maintaining a 4.6 GPA. Nicolas Pereira, this week's Student Athlete of the Week, is weighing colleges like Georgia Tech and the University of Florida as the Tornadoes prepare to return to the field Oct. 16.
