• Todd Fitz-Gerald, 6 MSD Championship Teams Headed to Broward County Hall of Fame (parklandtalk.com) — Parkland's own Marjory Stoneman Douglas baseball dynasty is headed to the Broward County Hall of Fame, with coach Todd Fitz-Gerald and all six state championship teams being inducted. Since 2021, the Eagles have piled up six straight state titles, four national championships, and a 172-17 record, while regularly sending players to college programs and the MLB Draft.
   

• Florida HOA delays rental-rule vote after residents are turned away from 'total chaos' meeting (thecooldown.com) — If you live in Parkland's Heron Bay community, a major vote on stricter rental and eviction rules was abruptly postponed after a chaotic, overcrowded HOA meeting. The master association, which oversees more than 3,100 homes in Coral Springs and Parkland, will revisit the proposal in early September at a larger venue after residents objected to both the rule changes and limited access.
