Fill the Mayflower in Pensacola to Support Local Families (newsradio923.com) β€” Pensacola residents are invited to help fight local hunger by donating food or funds at the Fill the Mayflower drive on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, at Cordova Mall's Dillard's parking lot. Volunteers will unload donations from your vehicle, and Manna Food Pantries will turn your nonperishable items or monetary gifts into nutritious meals for children, seniors, veterans, and families across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

White vehicle sought following Pensacola smoothie shop shooting (wkrg.com) β€” Pensacola police are searching for a white vehicle after a drive-by shooting outside Vibes and Smoothies on North 9th Avenue left a woman wounded Sunday night. Investigators say several shots were fired into a crowd, the victim's injuries are not life-threatening, and they believe she was not targeted. Anyone with information is urged to contact PPD or Crime Stoppers.

Downtown Pensacola: Paid parking may return early October (wkrg.com) β€” If you park in downtown Pensacola, free parking may end as soon as Oct. 5 under a proposal to reinstate paid parking for about 1,100 spots. The plan includes a resident discount via the ParkMobile app, a senior pass, and a focus on education with warning notices at first; city council is set to vote Sept. 24.

Escambia Soil and Water Conservation District Welcomes Misha Phillips City of Pensacola (opgov.news) β€” A new volunteer, Misha Phillips, has joined the Escambia Soil and Water Conservation District board, which helps guide local projects on soil health, water quality, and environmental education affecting Pensacola and the rest of the county. The board partners with state and federal agencies, reviews grants, and supports outreach like youth programs and pollinator education.
