DUI Checkpoint Planned in Kendall Area
The checkpoint will be stopping cars from 7 pm to 3 am on Tuesday.

KENDALL, FL — Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars on Tuesday night at a DUI checkpoint from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area along SW 97 Avenue between 87 Street & 107 Street.

The checkpoint will be operated by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
