KENDALL β The luck of the Irish won't be helping you on Friday night if you get pulled over by Miami-Dade police at their St. Patrick's Day DUI checkpoint.

Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area of 125 Avenue and SW 88 Street.

The multi-agency checkpoint will be operated by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Special Patrol Bureau Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
