Miami-Dade Police Car Overturns
A Miami-Dade police car struck a median strip along SW 137th Street on Tuesday and overturned. The officer was not injured.
KENDALL, FL — A Miami-Dade police car struck a median strip on Tuesday and overturned along SW 137th Street, according to police. The car was driven by an 0ff-duty Miami-Dade police officer. No one was injured in the accident.
Detective Daniel Ferrin of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that the accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. near SW 76th Street.
The officer was "off duty, lost control, hit the side median and the vehicle overturned," Ferrin explained. "Speed is not suspected."

Ferrin said that the police car was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
