Thieves Make Off With $168K From Condo Office

The burglars took checks and money orders from a condominium management office.

KENDALL, FL β€” Two thieves wearing white hoodies stole $168,000 in checks and money orders from a condominium property manager's office.

"Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Kendall District have released video surveillance footage of a commercial burglary at a condominium property management’s office in Southwest Miami-Dade and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and/or locating the two burglars involved in the theft," explained Detective Marjorie Eloi of the Miami-Dade Police Department on Tuesday.

The commercial burglary occurred between Feb. 27 and March 5, according to police.

"Video surveillance footage from 13841 S.W. 90 Ave. captured two males wearing white hoodies removing several checks and money orders from the drop box of the condominium complex," she said.

"Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual," according to Eloi.
