1 Dies From Burn Injuries Following Fire At Lealman Senior Center

LEALMAN, FL — One person is dead after a fire broke out at a two-story assisted care facility in Lealman Saturday.

St. Petersburg Fire Rescue said the fire broke out around 9 p.m. at Noble Senior Living, 3479 54th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Firefighters arrived and found a small fire that they extinguished in 10 minutes.

One person, however, suffered extensive burns and was taken to the hospital where the person later died.

The fire marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire.
