1 Pedestrian Dead, 4 Others Injured By Hit-And-Run Driver
Pinellas County sheriff's deputies are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed one person and injured four others Thursday night.

ST. PETE BEACH, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's deputies are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed one person and injured four others Thursday night on Gulf Boulevard.
According to deputies, 70-year-old Hiep Huynh and four of his family members were crossing the road in the 4400 block of Gulf Boulevard in St. Pete Beach when a red Nissan Juke left the public beach parking lot, turned north on Gulf Boulevard and struck all five pedestrians.
The driver then fled the scene north on Gulf Boulevard.

Huynh was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead while 77-year-old Thuong Phan and 76-year-old Hai Pho received minor injuries. Two others, 51-year-old Anh Martin and 67-year-old Tuy Vinh Huynh, were treated at the scene.
The Nissan Juke is a newer model with alloy rims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. John Dobson at 727-580-4505.
