2 Killed When Speeding Ferrari Crashes In Pinellas Park: Police

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Two occupants of a red Ferrari were killed instantly Sunday night when the driver lost control of the car while speeding down Bryan Dairy Road.

According to the Pinellas Park police, Pinellas Park police and rescue personnel responded to the scene at 9:42 p.m. Based on the preliminary investigation, officers said the Ferrari was traveling east at a high speed in the 7200 block of Bryan Dairy Road between 66th Street North and Belcher Road when it spun out, crossed the median and crashed into a westbound Acura head on.

The driver of the Ferrari, a 67-year-old Largo man, was thrown from the car. Both the driver and passenger, a 56-year-old Largo woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Acura, a 42-year-old Largo man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
