27-Year-Old Man Dies In Rollover Crash In Madeira Beach

MADEIRA BEACH, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a roll-over crash in Madeira Beach that killed a 27-year-old man.

The crash occurred at about 7:39 p.m. on Wednesday at 13665 Gulf Blvd. in Madeira Beach.

Investigators say Brandon Mason was driving a Ford F-240 pickup truck south on Gulf Boulevard when he lost control, left the road and struck a palm tree in the center median. The crash resulted in the truck overturning and ejecting Mason, who was pinned beneath the truck.

Once he was extricated, he was taken to the hospital where he died.
