85-Year-Old Man Killed Crossing Starkey Road In Seminole

SEMINOLE, FL — An 85-year-old man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck while walking across Starkey Road Friday morning.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, around 6 a.m. 27-year-old old Kenderrick Pearson was driving a GMC pickup truck north on Starkey Road when he struck Michael Gravino.

Gravino, who was not in a designated crosswalk, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff.
