89-Year-Old Sex Predator Accused Of Exposing Himself To Girls

PINELLAS PARK, FL -- An 89-year-old Pinellas Park man has been arrested following complaints about a man exposing himself and masturbating in front of young girls.

According to Pinellas Park Police, Edward Boelsche called out to three girls under 16 who were walking down the sidewalk. When they looked in his direction, police say he exposed himself and began to masturbate.

The children immediately reported the incident to an adult who also witnessed this behavior. The adult contacted police who identified Boelsche as a registered sexually violent predator. Police said he has multiple criminal convictions for sexual violence against children dating back to 1986. He was on probation until April 28, 2017.

The incident took place at the home of Boelsche's son where he was visiting. Boelsche's address is listed as the Continental Inn at 12810 U.S. 19 in Clearwater.

Boelsche was charged with one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition. He remains in jail on a $50,000 bond.
